Barbezieres Charente France Geography and Transport
Barbezieres is a small hamlet (area 9.29 km2) situated in the northwest corner of the Charente at an altitude of 79m to 141m, close to the Charente Maritime border, northwest of Angouleme and northeast of Cognac. The RN10 (Poitiers-Bordeaux) is approximately 25km east of the hamlet, and the RN141 is South of Barbezieres. Flights direct to the UK are available 3 times per week from Angouleme airport. Ruffec (32km North West) is the closest link to the TGV mainline, where it is possible to be in Paris in around 2h30min.
